Within the camera, an array of infra-red sensitive pixels capture an image of the thermal patterns on your skin’s surface. Infra-red light is not visible to the human eye. The camera detects heat patterns associated with inflammation and changes in the muscular, vascular skeletal and neural systems.
As a thermogram shows active inflammation and increased blood supply, it has the ability to see problems derived from physiological (cell level) changes earlier than other tools such as x-rays and ultrasounds (organ /anatomical level).
